Salva has been 20 years in the making. In 1996 Fitadelphia started a Latin music fitness program. It was introduced to a local gym in Center City and the creator was told that the clients wouldn’t go for it. Songs from the album Salsa in English were used and the urbano song El Cachon was great to use with step aerobics. Alas, it was not meant to be. In 2006 that other Latin music fitness program came along and took off like gangbusters. But now, through the grace of God and the moving of the Holy Spirit through the world of Salsa, Bachata, Merengue and Reggaeton and all of the famous “OG” salseros who are now all BORN AGAIN…the timing is perfect.
So if your church is working out to a Latin music fitness program that uses secular music, it doesn’t have to anymore. Through a lot of work, prayer and imagination Fitadelphia created a program that uses the best Latin Born Again music around…..and it has not stepped on any licensing toes to do it. As a matter of fact, one of the most famous Born Again bands from Puerto Rico gave us their blessing.
Here is what Salva is about:
We praise and worship God, become disciplined and get healthy. While we do this we bring others to Christ through the program (which consists of warm-up, stretch, isometrics, dance aerobics, push-ups and sit-ups). The program is an INSTRUCTOR TRAINING program for individuals who want to teach church groups. The sky is the limit with this idea folks!
We pray at the beginning and end of every workout.
Salva Nutrition teaches us how to identify the harmful chemicals (“Minions”) in our diets and how to gradually eliminate them.
It’s a simple, effective program. STAY TUNED FOR INFORMATION ON OUR FIRST INSTRUCTOR TRAINING. COMING REALLY SOON!
